It is difficult to raise test scores if you haven't listened in class. If what is being taught in the classroom is difficult to understand, then going after class to speak to the teacher is a good option. If it is hard to listen in class because you are talking the whole time, then try moving, and chat after class. Tutoring after school at least twice a week is also recommended. Parents involvement with the student's work is also very helpful. Parents and older siblings also can make excellent tutors.
