Additionally, I have ten years of experience coaching basketball at the junior varsity and varsity level. I feel that teaching, coaching, and tutoring are all opportunities to help young people reach their goals and learn who they are. Tutor Experience: I have been tutoring children, adolescents and college students for the past several years, and more recently have specialized in tutoring children with learning disabilities. I currently work at UCLA and am part of a multi-site study that explores the effects of stress. My experience in psychology has given me a deep and generative understanding of learning development, motivation, and individual differences.

Tutor Experience: In college, I co-founded an SAT prep program called “SAT Success” for inner-city high school students. Most recently I was a teacher’s assistant in Environmental Epidemiology at the Keck School of Medicine. I currently specialize in helping students in advanced math and science classes, not only by teaching the content, but by teaching important study skills that help them become more independent learners.
